Summery:
A trek from Phaplu and around provides
an excellent opportunity to see few
Tibetan refugee camps and experience
the culture and religious practice
of the Sherpa people who belongs to
the Nyingmapa sects of Tibetan Buddhism
in high Solu region. The trek combines
visits to Sherpa villages, Monasteries
and monks, viewing of their daily
activities, their worship and ritual
practices with meeting the monks,
nuns and lay people. Mountain views
of Everest in Khumbu region and Kanchenjungha
are spectacular from here.
Itinerary:
Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu.
Reception at airport and transfer
to hotel.
Day 02 : Day Sightseeing tours
to Kathmandu valley.
Day 03 : AM Drive to airport
and fly to PHAPLU and commence trek.
Day 19 : Trek concludes at
Phaplu.
Day 20 : Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 21 : Day at leisure in
Kathmandu.
Day 22 : Departure transfer
to airport.
