Summary : Slightly
east and south of the Annpurnas,
the trek is a 'Middlehill' trek
beginning at Pokhara and heading
eastwards to Gorkha through communities
of Gurung and Magar supplying manpower
to the Gorkha armies. Venturing
into the seldom trekked area, it
offers the trekker magnificent views
of Annapurna and Manaslu ranges
and possibility of climbing Ramrung
peak. The Ramrung peak (4400m) is
free of all technical aspects and
easy to climb. End at Besi Sahar,
the tiny trading town of the region.
Itinerary :
Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu.
Reception at airport and transfer
to hotel.
Day 02 : Day sightseeing
tours to Kathmandu Valley.
Day 03 : Drive to Pokhara
for overnight.
Day 04 : Commence trek.
Day 10 : Trek concludes at
Besi Sahar.
Day 11 : Drive to Chitwan
National Park for two nights.
Day 13 : Drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 14 : Kathmandu - at leisure.
Day 15 : Trip concludes by
departure transfers.
